Train like a Champion! *no not really*
GSP's tag line on the cover says "if you want to be a champion, you have to train like one." While this is surly motivating as hell sounding. I'm not 100% sure these are the actual workouts GSP does when he's training. But I'm 37 and out of shape so I'm 100% sure even if I finish this program, my chances of ever being a champion at anything are slim to none. None to be exact, well unless it's something like chili fry eating champion. But I digress, I'm really puzzled this has no reviews on here, the individual disc does but not the entire program. So I thought a solid review of the whole package would be nice. 1st, as I already state I'm 37, and have been doing 3 or so miles 3x a week on the treadmill at my gym for the last 9 or so months. I haven't been doing anything in the way of weights, except for some push ups here and there. So it's just jogging and some running. There are no shortage of DVD workout programs you can buy, but I decided to go with this for the following...
I am seeing my abdominal muscles!
I have had two trainers - one better than the other- got results with both. However, this workout program is a lot less expensive and the results are comparable! I am a 42 year old woman, generally overweight, with moderate muscle tone under the layer of fat. Currently, I am day 45 of the program and I have experienced:- (Please keep in mind that I have not stuck to the nutrition program...baby steps)
1. Increased overall muscle tone/definition- I truly am seeing at least a 4-pack emerging, rock hard thighs, great biceps and triceps, and many other muscles that I can't name)
2. A rear end that is actively defying gravity
3. Increased flexibility, health, and endurance.
4. An improved overall attitude.
What I love about the DVDs.
1. Erik Owings -My favorite type of training. Low keyed, professional, clear concise instructions with demonstrations, motivational...moves you to the next segment smoothly and does not waste time.
2. The...
Awesome Workout!!
I've had Rushfit for a week now and wanted to post and early review plus add another review as I go. I am a 180 day veteran of Supreme 90 (like p90x with muscle confusion). Decided I needed a change and saw Rushfit and gave it a go. It is so much more intense, yet do able. Eric Ownings does a great job of explaining what and why you are doing something. Balance & Agility kicked my butt yesterday and even George "tapped out" in the end. For perspective, I'm female age 34. In decent shape, but with lackluster flexibility and core strength. I think that will improve as I go with this program. There are modifications if you can't do something, which is very helpful. I can tell already that my cardio strength is up as well as core strength.
I've never seen a MMA fight, but after seeing George, it is something that I would like to see sometime. He is an amazing athlete. I really like that he is sweating along and struggling with the rest of us.
GSP Rushfit has a...
