Wonderful!!!
These sorts of shows are so compelling. I have seen all the British series up to the latest one, Up 56 and was very curious how the idea worked in other cultures. This one is amazing. The Japanese society and the way children are raised seem to be quite different to our children's experiences and I found it fascinating to see how these children "stayed the course" throughout their first 21 years, across all economic differences and societal differences.
Wonderful.
This is for people who want to hear nihongo, and see Nihon. If that's what matters, this is for you. It's talking to Japanese kids who grows up, and they check on in them several times as years pass. Loved it. It's a documentary, and I liked how they let them more so speak for themselves. I felt the questions where good. In fact you almost wish the video was longer and more people. But it's really the right amount, and gets you thinking and understanding Japan better.
